The Process Chain:
The MCP Realizer SLM will build any type of component (internally undercut, hollow) from practically any type of metal powder. SLM generated tools and components are completely dense and homogenous in structure, and, depending on the requirements, can be up to 100% pure of the material being used.
 
Quicker from the idea to the finished product. A CAD data file in STL format is enough to program the MCP Realizer SLM. Less expertise is required to run and operate the machine compared to numerically controlled milling equipment.
 
No finishing,
straight into the press!
The steel substrate plate on which the SLM tool is built is used for quick set-up in the press.
 
Sheet metal forming tools can be produced overnight for rapid prototypes and short run parts. Depending on sheet metal thickness, SLM tooling can produce up to several thousand parts in 3 mm sheet metal. SLM tools are strong and robust and ideal for the wear and tear of the press shop.
