The MCP 12/90 VSP is a 9 ton clamp force machine
designed for the manufacture of components from 0.02 to 12 grams
in the most aggressive production environments. Using screw plasticising
and plunger injection control by linear transducers, the 12/90
VSP is extremely accurate and repeatable from shot to shot.
The machine incorporates a sliding and rotating mould carrier
to give a highly economical method of insert moulding with ease
of positioning and operator comfort of paramount importance. insert
loading and unloading takes place during the moulding cycle to
optimise processing time and increase efficiency. |
| Using only compressed air, single phase power and a supply of
chilled water the MCP 12/90 VSP is easy to install and provides
a cost effective package for moulding tight tolerance, precision
engineered components. The four zone, closed loop, PID temperature
control system enables the machine to process a wide variety of
engineering thermoplastics. Tool changes take only five minutes
and material changes as little as ten minutes, significantly reducing
down time. |

A sophisticated PLC control panel with a memory for up to 25
moulding recipes features a high resolution colour screen and
allows touch sensitive setting of all moulding parameters. Graphical
display, full fault diagnosis and a handy HELP! facility make
the MCP 12/90 VSP a truly versatile and user friendly machine.
