One of the most important aspects of our business policy is to enter into long-term partnerships with companies boasting the most varied requirements. These partners may range from manufacturers of electrical components, or the automotive supply industry, to the multinational pharmaceuticals industry.

Thus, for example, for many years now, we have been producing a basic material used for manufacturing electronic components, which was specially developed to the customer's specifications following intensive technical discussions.

The transfer of technologies and machinery to HEK GmbH is a further service frequently used by our customers, which combines product optimisation and cost reduction with the long-term safeguarding of the supply of raw materials. In this context, we have been producing a bismuth compound for a multinational company since the start of the 80s, for which both the recipe as well as the machinery were transferred to Lubeck.

At the request of an American pharmaceuticals company, we have expanded our wet production area. The prerequisite for this investment was their declaration of intent stating their long-term intention of having this bismuth salt produced by HEK GmbH.
