HEK GmbH, based in Lubeck, and thus closely linked with the port of Hamburg, has been a successful player in the fields of chemistry, metallurgy, tool technology and medical technology for many years.

All of our business activities are based around the non-toxic metal bismuth, with its melting point of 271° C, and has been the main focus of the MCP group of companies since its formation.

In the metallurgy sector, we produce a variety of low-melting-point alloys and different specifications and purities of various other non-ferrous metals at our Lubeck plant, where we also handle the marketing and distribution of the entire range of non-ferrous metals produced by our sister company, MCP UK, for the entire German-speaking region.

Our chemistry division is one of the world leaders when it comes to bismuth salt production. HEK GmbH has a world-wide distribution network boasting branch offices in all major consumer markets.

When required, we are able to dispatch standard products, which we keep in stock in large quantities in our state-of-the-art high bay warehouse, to anywhere in the world within 24 hours.
